How I came to BizLink

It was time for a change in my career path as I wanted to focus on my passion for Lean Management. When I first saw this extensive and challenging job description on the BizLink career site, my first thought was: a great challenge and exactly what I was looking for!

During the introductory round, my interview partners created a pleasant atmosphere so that I immediately felt connected to the team and the company.

What I do at BizLink:

As part of the Business Excellence and Operational Excellence team (BE & OpEx), my day job is:

  • Development, improvement and implementation of concepts and strategies for process optimization throughout the organization

  • Collaborate with my team and experts from business units and departments to continuously improve the solutions we develop, e.g. Kaizen Production System (KPS) based on EFQM & Lean principles.

  • Planning and facilitation of workshops & trainings on-site or virtually

  • Supporting the sites in the implementation of improvement projects

What challenges do I face in my everyday work and what are my superpowers that I can use to overcome them:

When working with different people, it is important to understand the different personalities and their motivations in order to drive a sustainable business excellence approach.

Since we are all "just" people with individual strengths, weaknesses, opinions, etc., it is important to accept these differences and treat each individual with the same level of respect. With this approach, I can build a relationship of trust and an atmosphere of teamwork with my colleagues and customers to achieve our goals.

What motivates me:

I want to live my passion and conviction for "Lean Mindset" and be able to change my environment.

What I do outside of BizLink:

I am passionate about playing badminton, MTB and collecting mushrooms. I am very open to new adventurous and fun activities! Suggestions? :)
